Is it posible to panelize an any given geometry like this in grasshopper?

How would you start?

I toke this image from http://blog.evolute.at/?p=163

I think it is not hard to do becuase the geometry it is not subdivided equally, but I have no idea where to start. Any advice?

Maybe if you would be more specific.  This panelization is probably planar, hexagonal, etc.  Is that what you want to do?  do you need planar hexagonal panels?  What kinds of panels do you want to use?

In this image I see hexagons and quad mesh in a combination. I was just thinking about planar hexagons but maybe it is no possible.

I am doing this as an exercise.......to learn more. So nothing as to be too specific.

You got the image from Evolute...

Evolute sells a plug-in for panelization and geometry.

EvoluteTools Lite is the free version of their commercial plug-in.

Play with that.
