Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I'm starting with a rectangular grid and a circle in each of the grid vertices. I can manage to do an attractor field with a point or even two points. But what I want to do is to have a point component that recieves multiple points, and have the circle field interact with each of the points in a way that the circles that overlap in the field get culled.

In the attached definition I can't seem to get rid of the circles that overlap.

Done with GH Version 0.8.0066

Thank you

Well, I managed to pull something off. But the attractor strenght of two close enough points doesn't add up, it just prioritizes the one with minimum radius.

To my knowledge it works with any number of points.

Wow! It does the same as my definition but takes way less time to calculate, and with the attraction option built in.

Didn't know about the pullpoint component. What does it actually do?

It pulls a point to a variety of geometry and also outputs distance, its advantage is when surveying multiple distances it sorts out what is closer to what.
