How can I create a list from the items that were took out after a random reduce?

Hello!

I am new to Grasshopper and I have a problem.

I have a list, from which I want several items randomly taken out.

I used 'random reduce' and I got the reduced list with the items I would like to keep, as you can see in the attached photo.

But now I want to create a separate list of the items which have been removed.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

One of the opportunities to correctly use the Item Index component presents itself here. Along with the Set Difference and a Series component you can produce the list of excluded faces.

BTW I should say to other readers that the flattened list was to mimic the behaviour of Lefteris' original defintion. It is not detrimental to the solution

Thank you both... but how can I represent the geometry of the items in that are not in the list?

Just plug the output of the List Index into a Cull Index of the original List

Misread the first question

thanks a lot!
