Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there

I was running weaverbird on Rhino and also in Grasshopper.

I then went to use it earlier today and it did not have any functionality.

I uninstalled and installed the new version but it states when i start rhino up "Error:Loading Weaverbird" when i go to details it states that "initialisation failed"

Does anyone what could be causing this issue?

Thanks

With this information I am not sure, but I fear that the "Undefined" Rhino release might be the problem... please can you upgrade to Rhino SR9?

works here on SR8

Hi giulio

I have installed a new rhino 4 with sr8 update and it still does not work.... it is really strange

I have attached a screen capture showing what is stated in the plugin options.

it also is not functional in grasshopper.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the New Year version many time.

Very strange

Any help is much appreciated

Hi Giulio

My Rhino is working, it is an educational copy licensed to a University. the reason you saw 'read only' is because I opened a WBird tutorial, this is held in my public folder and therefore i am asked to save it under another name, which I had not done at the time of posting. Sorry

I have attached more images and I would really appreciate your help if you know the answer.

Just a run down of what has happened:

-WB stopped working one day - it gave me an error that I cannot remember exactly

-I uninstalled and reinstalled the old version and new version many times. This did not work.

-Uninstalled all my plug-ins ie GHopper, Vray etc and reinstalled - this did not work

-I installed a new version of Rhino under a different license and it still does not work

-I have uninstalled everything and tried to delete all trace files and then reinstalled everything and it still does not work

I don't know what the problem could be - I am running Windows 7 FYI

Sorry about this mess, I really appreciate any assistance

Thanks

Are you running from your own machine? WB normally installs in a subdirectory of program files.  Maybe you don't have file execution permission on this path.
