Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I hope my screenshots explain what I am trying to do.

I currently have a surface divided into a set number of points, and have rectangles drawn at each point. I am happy about this as it was what I was trying to do. However, since the rectangles are drawn from a center point, the squares on the perimeter exceed the edges of the surface I have drawn.

I did a quick mock up of what I am trying to have it look like in Rhino in the second screenshot. Just a square, with a given number of other squares evenly spaced and contained within it.

What would I have to modify to accomplish this?

Thanks.
N

Hi Nathan

I think U shall do something like this->

Hello,
You could first take a percentage of the whole surface by either scaling or reconstructing an interval^2 to represent a percentage of the surface... and divide this...
truth:)
