Hey guys. I'm sure this is and brainier for the programmers...how do I create the same action but on a differrent member each time? When I insert them all into a the same component, it's gets all…Continue

sweeping rectangle profiles vs. pipes

hi, I am trying to sweep rectangle profiles along curves. This results in many many crashes as opposed to using these same curves with the pipe command. I don't understand the problem, logicwise because pipe is also sweeping a circle on the same curve. is there something differrent while coding from grasshopper than from built in commands as far as computer usage is concerened? I basicly have like 70 curves I need to sweep the same  rectabgular profile on. I have them in a list, and use the…See More

Hey guys. I'm sure this is and brainier for the programmers...how do I create the same action but on a differrent member each time? When I insert them all into a the same component, it's gets all messed up. What I do is I just duplicate the definition each time..and insert a differrent memebber each time. and it's really a pain...please help : )

rebuild surface and extract it's wireframe curves

hey guys Í"m trying to get the grasshopper definition for rebuilding a surface and extracting it's uv wireframe curves, just like in the command from rhino curves>curve from object> extract wireframe. I want the u and v lines to come in 2 differrent lists. this is rather trivial as it is a built in rhino command.does any1 know how to achieve this?thanxSee More

hey guys, I checked out some of the programs on the market and though rhino is great in many ways, its filleting  is quite lame and does not allow parametrical changes after being made//I checked out fillet expert for solidworks...it automaticaly creates patches as well..it would be great if rhino had something like that because I feel the design process is a one way street and you can't change anyhting after its been done..does anyone have a clue about this subject?

firefly question

Hello,I recently purchased an arduino uno kit and have a basic question...can arduino control a few inputs at the same time? lets say I have 50 turnable surfaces..I want each one to turn at a differrent rate and stop at a differrent angle. can I connect them all to a sigle arduino board or would each one need its own une?

LESS IS MORPH

I would like to begin a format where we can share our knowladge and create real life architecture and design components . Designers alongside with the programmers! I am currently taking a studio in digital architecture and if there is one things that screams out is the lack of technical knowladge architects have as to programming .

I wish to create a dialog in which we all can share our knoladge and dreams and create together parametric designs which will be a collective journey. I… Continue
