algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I would like to have 3 sound sources emitting sound simultaneously.

I can input 3 sources, but I could only get measurement from the receiver for each of the sound sources respectively.

Instead, I would like to have one measurement for the three source points.

Does anyone know the way?

Thanks

Hi,
If you right click on the energy time curve control, I think there is a way to specify whether it adds then together or not.

Take a look and report back.

Hi Arthur,

Thank you for your reply. I realized that the data list structure needs to be specific for the 'Energy Time Curve component - Sum all ETCs' option to work.

If you look at the image below, marked in red, you'll see that the two sound sources are input as 2 branches. Only after running the calculation, they are flattened, and then the 'sum all ETCs' option works. Do you think that flattening the direct sound/image source/ray tracing input data of the ETC component is the correct approach?

If I don't check the 'sum all ETCs' option, as marked in blue, it seems like the output only shows the first of the two sound sources.

Sorry for the delay... This forum doesn't always notify me when there is a reply...

I think I don't really understand your question... What do you mean with flattening?

Regarding putting the different source data into the ETC component, it should be fine... just make sure they at each input, the results go in at the same order... as in the results from Direct sound index 1 will be combined with IS and RT of index 1 as well. The same with index 0 and index 2 or whatever...
