algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Any thoughts on modeling a flocking based on a geometry. The aim is to contains particle/ spheres/ geometries within a parametric model which is the guiding volume for flocking with the centroid of the volume/ or a point controlling/ driving the movement. Thanks

Hey Abir,

I think Jorge did something like that.

Thanks. I think its slightly different.

I would like to contain the particles within a defined geometry, in other words, the geometry defines the extent of the swarms in a equilibrium state (to the extent possible), yet displaying the swarm logic.

Have you looked at Robert Cervellione's flocking plug-in? (GH Locust R1).  I don't know if it still works with the current version of GH,  but it might be worth taking a look.  You have to register to download.

Thanks Chris, that look promising, will have a look.
