Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have 'moved' a component onto points produced from locust, however, from the photo the image it shows i have placed 0 from the point list of the component onto to other points.

However what i want is the longer part of the component to go along in the same direction of the vectors of the points instead of perpendicular as shown)

The orange boxes showed what i have tried to orientate them

I also want to make the surface a box do i have to offset this?

Thank you

Predictable orientation in 3D space needs more than one vector. You can use NormalPlane to create a 3D plane from a vector and use Orient to orient geometry from one plane to another.

Extrude might be a good idea to create a box if you only have a surface...

when you use this dont you have to have a surface for both? im just using the vector

also shouldn't i use orient direction? i have managed to move it but not int he right direction and i cant work out how to control it
