algorithmic modeling for Rhino

how to find an irregular shape's gravity point?!

here is my situation, I got an irregular curve, and I want to rotate it all the way up along the Z-direction, but not like a circle or an ellipse, you can easily find the center, this irregular shape doesn't rotate as I would have expected.

In order to make it clear, I attached a screen shot, please check it out.

thanks.

that's exactly what I'm looking for, thanks Rony~

One more question, do you know how to, when twisting up, change the shape from the bottom to the top? let's say from a rectangle at the bottom to a circle at the top.......
the topic of transformations is different and depends on what you like to achieve. sorry, maybe someone else can give you some hints.
you have to create a blendshape
shape on the bottom and shape on the top divide curves connect with bending curves due to your rotation and divide the lines again ....... the rest should be clear
