algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello All
I am novice in grasshopper. I am looking for a solution to uniform distribution objects on arbitrary surface(terrain for example). It mean distance between each two neighboring should be equal (approximately, in some range)

How you want to make it on the surface with diferent lengths in UV directions without distorsion the surface?

this is an example of uniform distribution of points on the surface. it is made with ZBrush and have a lot of specific problems. this tool very not accurate, unpredictable in use, hard to use, but this is absolutely correct as concept

i think... i got the same problem.. can anyone solve this? mine is triangulation, the problem is almost the same :D i don't want the module to distort in sizes, it doesn't matter if the edges are equilateral, but its preferable.
