Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm sitting in a grasshopper workshop and my computer comes up with an error when I type in Grasshopper in Rhino.
It Says,
An error occured while trying to load the GH_Scribble component. Expection has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

If you know what this might be please let me know, or even better how to fix it.

I've done this a few times and still the same error
do you have the latest .net framework, 3.5 SP1 from Microsoft?
Yes I have the service pack installed
I´ve the same problem. I´ve tried every thing you say. But it still doesn´t work.
I still have this problem.
It is strange. Because I´ve 2 pc. With the same windows same SP, same rhino, same grasshopper. And it works in one, but not in the other one.
Is the Comic Sans MS font installed on the computer? If not, can you try installing it and see if it makes a difference?

(this might be a good place to start: http://web.nickshanks.com/fonts/microsoft-core-web-fonts )

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! IT WORKS!!!!!

thank you a lot David!
Comic Sans spoils the day again ...
It's very strange. First of all I'm confused as to how people end up with a Windows installation that does not feature any core fonts, and second of all there should be a mechanism for font-fallback, where a different font is chosen if the requested one is not available.

Anyway, this needs rigorous looking into on my part...

I've tried installing the ComicSans (and rebooting) but still the same problem.
on Rhinov4, vista x64 (HP)
There's a number of hard-coded fonts in Grasshopper. Comic Sans is used in the Scribble object, Courier and Arial and Times are used in Text Panels etc. etc.

What is the exact error you get?
