algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Shouldn't Eval Length and Eval Curve provide the same results in this case?

What am I not getting? Or, is there something a little off in one of these components?

It seems to me that both of these should be producing the same output given the same normalized curve. But they're not. It would be nice to rely on one or the other. Or, grok the differences if they are both working correctly. Any thoughts?

There have been a lot of posts with mention of this topic.

 

Basically unless you have a straight line (and even then...), you can never assume that [Eval Length] and [Eval Curve] will give you the same result.
