Image sampler - getting my image to fit correctly

Hi There,

First of all, apologies for this as i feel its a real basic question but I just can't work it out.

I want to apply the black and white gradient to the files attached. The texture in the brick file is to determine the rotation of bricks in the wall and the texture in the Hexagon panel is to control the inner openings/holes of each hexagonal block.

I just want the image to fill the panel, whether its small or big i would like the image to scale according to the panel size.

I have tried to get to work, searched lots and viewed tutorials but cannot get it to work correctly.

Thanks for viewing and any comments appreciated

Still trying to figure this out. Would really appreciate it if some one could take a look.

I'm not sure if its the image proportions or the wall size thats causing any issue? I have tried altering the settings so the x and y read 0 to 25000 and 0 to 7000 (as per surface dimensions) Also have tried to use the method of automatically mapping the image to the correct dimensions of the wall.

I'm sure its real simple, but i just cant figure it out? I have reattached the latest working files

Thanks for reading

Marc

Hi.

Check the red parts of the attached definition. You'll need "Lunchbox" plug-in's 'Reverse Surfce Direction" component.

If you want to keep image shape in spite of changing wall size, you'd be better off keeping imagesampler's domain 0 to 1. Best.
