Hi Saurabh,
since this is such a severe problem, I'm thinking it has something to do with the Display Drivers getting screwed over.
Start Grasshopper, but before you do ANYTHING ELSE, go into the View menu and disable OpenGL Sprites.

initially it did but later on i tried it again and donloded some stuff i dont remember then everything was fine and it continued to work fine but now when i have started practicing it has failed to do so

but how did you manage to run grasshopper on SR2? Doesn't it refuse to install unless that condition is met?

when you say "screen" do you mean the entire screen? Or just Rhino? Or just Grasshopper?

Apologies for the late reply, can you explain more in specific what is it exactly that you are trying to do? If you need a general reference, the GH primer is a pretty good place to start.
You can look at McNeel's gallery page for GH, which can be found here: http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.aspx/McNeel/GrassHopperGallery.html
There's quite a bit of stuff on there dealing circles and polar coordinate systems. Take a look, and then let me know if you still have questions.
