Jorn, I had an issue with invalid meshes in the previous version of Weaverbird. Have you updated to most recent?

The simple one worked really perfectly for me! But the Kangaroo version seems to have a lot of issues with the Weaverbird components, I can only get it to work (somewhat) when I bypass those... Is there some kind of conflict between WB and the…

Thanks for the interest everyone.  As of late I haven't gotten a chance to develop this further, but I've posted the working definition here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/parking-generator-working-definition

Parking Generator (working definition)

This definition is sloppy at the moment and needs a lot of work.  The parking counts are not accurate (it counts lines instead of spaces) and the generating spaces need work as well.I'm posting the progress though in case anyone wants to check it out.Video:http://www.grasshopper3d.com/video/parking-generator-with-grasshopper?xg_source=activityFiles:…See More

Shrink Wrap with Kangaroo

This definition approximates a shrink wrap for generic brep geometry.

There are two steps:

The first step creates a mesh from a bounding box and drags each vertex to the closest point on the brep. Andrew Heumann offered a similar definition back in December (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/video/shrinkwrap-with-grasshopper?xg_source=activity)

The second step takes the…

Laser Material Optimizer

Reduces material area for cutting from a series of sections.  Uses Galapagos.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Sectional Modeler for Laser Cutter

This is a definition (WIP, attached) which creates sections for a laser cutter from opened or closed single geometry.  This won't work on every geometry, but it will work for a lot of them.  It uses offsets and booleans so it may be difficult to predict.

I'm also playing with a way to minimize material area for cutting (with galapagos).  If anyone can offer help to improve it, let me know!

Update:

- Some issues with outside…

check your gmail account please. Thanks. There is another problem i am facing with the defination. Once i export it to coral draw for cnc cutting, the curves fail to read and they don't join. Any advice for what i should do?
