WISH: parse Name and Nickname in Expression
As explained in this thread here, expressions on input parameters seem to be parsed for the current name only. This may break expressions in various scenarios.
The instance name might be the most obvious name but may change at any time. Since all three are present but only instance name may change, I think it's a good idea to test Name, Nickname and instance name when parsing the expression.

Hi Hannes,
yes it was indeed a mistake. My plan for the future is to always use 'x' as a variable.
