Permalink Reply by Vicente Soler on August 2, 2012 at 8:35pm Great update. I think the addition of synchronized clusters will probably be the biggest change in Grasshopper workflow since datatrees.
I had this sort of pipedream where you could place a cluster inside the same cluster and it allowed for recursion, but i guess we won't be seeing this any time soon (I didn't really think it through).
The only downside, if you can call it that, is that organizing data as elegantly as possible to avoid duplicate component structures won't be as necessary as before, but this is just me being pedant.
Congratulaions to you from Cordoba, Argentina..
I see that there are functions that use vector fields. How do I have to start using them?
I wonder where practical examples made.
What graphics can be done with the vector functions Grasshopper?
Thanks for repairing rotary knobs!.
Galapagos would be good to also encompass the multidimensional slider, knobs and more.

first of all thanks for your great work.
I am horny about those clusters, but I can´t get grasshopper starting without errors what makes me nervous when I update my definitions...
Any idea how to fix this message
This error pops up each time I start GH....
I already uninstalled the old version, deleted the folder, and made a clean install with the latest version 006, but the ID conclict still remains....
Anyway, GH seems to work fine and my older definition could be imported with only a few errors...
Thanks...
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I'm trying to get to the bottom of this error. The problem seems to be that Grasshopper is trying to load the same components twice. It is not yet clear to me whether it is trying to load the same GHA file twice or whether there are two identical GHA files that are both loaded.
The former is clearly a bug, the latter would be an installation/setup problem which would however benefit from a more informative warning message.
Can you post a screenshot of the window that is shown by the GrasshopperDeveloperSettings command? Also, can you search your hard-disk for all files with the extension *.gha (search term would be "Type:=.gha" in Windows 7)

Permalink Reply by Jon Mirtschin on August 3, 2012 at 4:14am Hi David,
I've seen this with my plugins. Previously I was explicitly nominating a folder for my gh assemblies to be loaded from. Now Grasshopper searches all folders Rhino plugins are loaded from (Steve mentioned this to me a while back). So GrasshopperDeveloperSettings does not need the path explicitly added.
I'm relocating my plugins into my own folder in Program Files from now on.
Cheers,
Jon

Removing the GHAs from the Downloads folder has fixed the problem
