Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a closed solid that I created in Rhino, but when I reference it in Grasshopper, it tells me it is an open brep.

I'm making some moderately complex polysurfaces where I use "join 2 naked edges" to modify the tolerance in order to make it a close solid. I can't think of anything else that is out of the ordinary.

Does anyone have any advice?

A boat perhaps?

Can you [Join] in Gh to get a closed surface?  Or do a check for naked edges to see where Gh thinks the "hole" is...

I'm trying to remember how Gh uses Rhino document tolerances, but that could be part of the issue (or not).

It could be something to do with trimmed surfaces too.

You may have to post your boat.

Even though I opened and closed grasshopper a number of times to start with, after i posted it, then re-opened the rhino file and discrepancy between rhino and grasshopper went away. Sooo... false alarm. Sorry.

Yes, it is a boat :D. The Eleonora to be precise.
