e the same (a 3d point is 3 floating point numbers), is to measure if their difference is smaller than a tolerance value.
For example, check if the distance between the two points is smaller than 0.01. If it is, assume that they are the same point.…

Then the challenge is taking the cells that you get from it and making them all smooth and sexy. Which is something I would probably look into weaverbird or exoskeleton for.…

view. So in the GH Definition i have only to estimate a center for always 4 holes. So i get 3 centers and they can be targets for the 3 details.
Sounds difficult but is not...look at the definition attached:
You have to find out what is best for your situation, this is just an example since i don't know what you're really doing.
As an extra tutorial i also added how to convert the text dots to 3d text, which you obtained from the counting. Could be useful for e.g. numbering the holes.
GH and 3dm files as well as screenshots are the attached zip file.

orientated to a certain angle to produce 3 different images from 3 views. I was told to look at bowerbird, but i am having some issues with generating the slots, i have a reference sphere for each node and the cutting planes (or so i think). The original geometry was generated in cinema 4d, and i was told grasshopper would be good in terms of fabricating.
If anyone can help i'd appreciate it

mensional constructs.
I'm really clueless at the moment on how to achieve the latter. I have compiled 3 excel datasets of my chosen painter - Rembrandt, in terms of his paintings and year they were produced, location coordinates of the places he lived and visited before, and paintings' location coordinates.
Is there any script file or tutorial that I can refer to? I have been trying my best to search for it or I can't find anything relevant.
I have attached two images to show the output of the task I'm supposed to produce. They depict the relationship between artificial and public spaces in the world, shown as 2D and 3D diagrams produced in Grasshopper and rendered in Rhino.
Any help is genuinely appreciated as my deadline is around the corner.…

and z vectors of zero length.
The following will work:
Dim cr As New circle(Plane.WorldXY, 1)
cr.center = New Point3d(1, 2, 3)
a = cr

o grasshopper, can i ask the 'the grasshopper' to pick the points automatically? (pick 3 points from the intersections/X-directions/...)
i also need to make a 2D from the same face in grasshopper, how can i do it?
i know this simple command (make2D) of rhino. in which i select the object, set Cplane out of 3points, set the view to front view and make 2D from corrent view. the whole idea is to do all this chain in grasshopper (since i have to do the same thing for 100s of drawings!)
thanks…
mapped on a freeform surface…But I want the triangles to continue being normal(I mean with 3 equal edges) and each triangle should continue being in one plane(I mean that the edges should not be curved in order to fit exactly the freeform surface)...In a nutshell, I want the unit of a normal triangle(3 equal edges) to be multiplied in 3d space in order to approximately fit/"create" the wanted freeform surface...I would appreciate any help!;-) thanks in advance!…
