? If so, how? (See Image 1)
2) On a custom component is is possible to make edits to the right click menu to add custom feature? (See Image 2)
3) I want to create a component that displays a series of text on the screen similar to the TEXT TAG (3D) component. I've tried using the TextEntity class and the TextDot class but no success. (See Image 3)
Thanks in advance for any advice.

rcs into evaluate curve component, always seems to output properties at the start of the arc (David might verify if this is a bug).
See if the attached is consistent with how you would like to achieve this.
The arcs are controlled by the points in the Rhino model.

one can see how the drainage paths generated from a series of fixed sources shift to find the slopes and valleys in the terrain.
For each source point, the algorithm:
1. finds the downward sloping direction
2. moves in that direction a designated distance
3. finds the closest point on the surface
4. if this new point is not higher or too close, then
5. it repeats from the new point.…
revolve the 2d curves to create 3d solid. My problem is that the 3 curves reference curves in my rhino file. I would like to have the curves created in Grasshopper so I can use the definition in existing or new Rhino without referencing curves.
I have gone through the forms and found a few definitions, but they seem overly complicated for what I need. I have included lines from center of top dome section to use as reference for tangent curve(s).
Thanks in advance … Randy…

and also an ocTree command that might be able to help but I am not sure how to use them exactly. In addition, is there a way to fill those implied surfaces once the lines are offset so that I would then not need to turn them into surfaces in rhino? Thank you in advance for the help! I have attached my model and some pictures of it as well.…
eply of simple mortal... you can try to make the form with surfaces, make a distribution similar to the holes of the images with points and do Voronoi 3d for intersections on surfaces. Then offset and extrude. But I recommend you the A option.…
e other spheres. So What I have done is:
1. creating a random set of points
2. use the 3D proximity to find the closest points
3. some how measure the distance of these vectors created from step 2
4. assign the values as radius for each sphere
I am stuck at step 3 now because I am confused about how exactly to use the outputs from the 3D proximity. Anyone knows how to use it please help!
By the way, I am working on this problem as the first approach to a flock or swarm behavior. Does anyone know if there had already been a solution to this? And where I could get it?
I really appreciate anyone that helps!…
