Dynamic Bitmap as Material in Custom Preview (Firefly)

Hello everyone,

I am seeking a way to use live video feed as a material on a changing surface. The effect I am looking to accomplish is like that of a mirror which changes form. 

I've noticed that the Firefly plug-in allows you to create a mesh from image, in which you can use the image as the material. I am seeking to accomplish the same, but instead of creating the mesh from the image, I only want to apply the image onto another surface or surfaces.

Any help I can get is greatly appreciated!
