Surface from .STL/.OBJ

Hey guys,

Wanted to work on this for a while now and have been thinking if there is a way to convert or extract .STL/.OBJ file to a workable surface. If there is anything out-there please let me know

Hey man,

I had a read and I loving it, but see I know I am still learning, was just wondering if there is a way in grasshopper? where I just import a file and convert to surface and work with it using code. Imagine if I have a mass standardization for mesh to surface conversion, can I some somehow program those parameters into grasshopper?
