Cant seem to get Weaverbird working

Hi all, newbie here! first day on GH!!

FYI im working on a mac Sierra 10.12.3!

Seems that all the tutorials are using weaverbird plugin and kangaroo to achieve what i am trying to do... ive got kangaroo but for some reason when i download the weaverbird i get an msi file which when expanded doesnt have any gha files or other plugin files... see pic attached of what it looks like.. what am i doing wrong? :s

As far as my project goes... im essentially trying to create a ring of inflatables... i have the polysturfaces for the individual 'bubbles' per se but now im trying to make them look like they are filled with air and made from a tensile membrane! See pic of polysurfaces.... if anyone has an idea of how to make this work best, i would be eternally grateful!
