Generate Flow Vectors within a River
Hi all,
I'm a bit of a newbie to GH and am trying to creates a map of the Thames in London that features water flow vectors that respond to the boundaries of the river banks. I currently have a vector shape that river itself -- my idea was to populate this shape with points/vectors, and have them respond to the two lines of the riverbank. I want something like below (something I found in an old forum), but am not sure how to set it up. Thoughts, help? Thanks!

It appears to me that the GRIB arrows in that image are more symmetric about the blue line rather than related to the river banks?

Yes, I think you are right, though it looks like they are also interacting with the banks themselves (at least the nearest vectors). I think if the vectors were more or less able to follow a central line that would work.
