Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

First post here! Been using Rhino for several years, but Grasshopper on and off for the past few months.

I'm working on an assignment that is about surfaces tools (paneling, points, patterning, quads, diagrid, triangulation, surface morph, etc.), but I'm running into a problem with a trimmed surface that resulted from a previous assignment that was all about boolean surfaces. As you might already know, the surface morph I'm trying to run is reading the untrimmed surface and not stopping at the border of the trimmed surface.

I've read a bit about trimmed surfaces and it seems like there is a few fixes, but they haven't worked for me. It may be that I am not doing them right. Is there a fast work around that doesn't involve a time consuming rebuild?

I've attached the files I'm working with along some snapshots of the previous assignment for context.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Carlos
