Shatter Curve Issue

I'm having trouble with the shatter component which hasn't troubled me before.

As you can see in the picture, I have matching data structures and as far as I can tell it's all hooked up properly. However, my input of 37 curves (grafted) to be shattered at 37 t-values (grafted) produces 37 curves, i.e. they're not being shattered.

What's interesting is that although the shatter appears to have failed, if I explode the curves before and after the shatter there is an extra segment in the post-shattered curve. And you guessed it, it's split where the shatter component was supposed to have done it.

I tried living with this and using explode and grabbing what I want using List Item but the list is hopelessly out of order. I also tried reparameterizing, going an extra step with curve cp from the CLX points and simplifying lists, stuff I saw in other help discussions.
