Problem with RSlits with a diagrid wrapping a surface (curve on surface)

Hello Grasshopper community!

My first post here. I´m a web developer just starting with Rhino/Grasshopper but completely amazed by these programs.

I have been learning on myself the last couple of weeks and with lots of research and trial and error I have been able to move forward. Until now.

I have a surface made of 4 circles lofted together and created a diagrid wrapping it. 

My goal is to (extrude?, offset?) the curves and create slits where they meet. My first attempt was to extrude them, but to be able to use rSlits, I found another thread on this forum using offsets. I was able to offset the curves and loft them together but rSlit kept throwing an error telling me it needs a shape…

Bellow is a screenshot from my definition so far except the rSlit and the Rhino/Grasshopper files.

Ultimately, I want to plot these curves on 2D and cut them with my cnc machine.
