Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I am working on creating Right Angles surfaces that are hung on rods/springs.  My starting geometry is 36x36x50.91.  After moving the anchor points the surfaces warp .5-1 units, which i am trying to minimize and retain a Right Angle as much as possible.  The problem is the rods are applying a forces onto the panels causing both the rods and surfaces to deform.  I believe if i create my rods into chains/strings the panels will have enough room to maintain the right angle without warping.

I can create up to (3) chains/strings at the same time however, if I try process more then (3) at the same time the simulation explodes.  I have not found out the reason for the limitation.

As you can see below the picture shows the surfaces swaying to the left because of the rods applying a force to the surfaces.

Thanks,
