About sweep options

Hi,

I have a question about "Sweep 1" in Grasshopper.

"Sweep 1" has a input "Miter".

We can choose "None", "Trim" or "Rotate" in the section.

How they are different ?

I somehow know the result is different when using each　of the options, but I want to know how Grasshopper calculates them.

Please give me a detailed explanation.
