Excel and Grasshopper

Hello, hello

I am a real newbie on Grasshopper - but not on architecture designs.

Currently I am working in urban planning department in public sector. I sometimes use Excel and I want to be better at it. Later in my career, I am planning to use Grasshopper and Rhino in architecture projects. 

Would you recommend any workflows or ideas to dig into regarding spreadsheets and calculations with Excel and the algorithm capability in Grasshopper?
