Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Good evening,

I'm not a "specialist of Grasshopper"... and I need an help.

I have to pick the face complanar to a set base of surface from a "long list of surface" generated from a voroni3d command.

Someone could help me and indicate the right way?.

I thank you in advance..

I think, he's looking for something more like this:

Assuming all faces are planar, we check the fist three vertices for proximity to the boundary BRep. if all three are on the boundary, it's safe to assume, the face is coplanar.

Thanks a lot!!! .. I have to keep the complanar face.. this way is right.. I change the command larger with smaller..

Thanks!!.. was all the afternoon that I think how to resolve this problem..

wouldn't this be removing all the coplanar faces. When I open your file I still have the top and bottom surfaces as well as the duplicates of all the interior surfaces?

Since he tried to compare only facade faces, my guess was internal duplicates were not a problem. Mario already pointed to a topic about removing exact duplicates, so I just didn't draw out that part. My idea isn't very efficient in case duplicates are exact and doesn't work for duplicates in the same list.

But it looks like I was kind of wrong about his intentions, too.

I obtained the correct result.
