Offset points to create a 3D morph

Dear all, 

first of all, thank you for the faboulous tools you are generating in rhino. They are really usefull and amazing. I use the Paneling from Rhino, and I want to use it from GH now. When I try to offset a grid based on a surface with a certain distance, I cannot find the right icon to do it. Could somebody help me in this point?

Basically I'm trying to folow the same process as paneling to do a 3d custom panelling, but I cannot find the way to offset first point grid. I tried to offset surface and create a new grid, but the parameters shoud be diferent in U and V distance to fit well with the prior one. So I'm a little confussed.
