algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys - I have been trying this for hours using Path Mapper but I cannot seem to get it to work.
I want to graft a path within a data tree but maintain the tree..see attached image.
anyone know if this is possible
thx

Do you mean you want to keep three levels of Branches?
If so then currently you have
{3;0;0} (N=16)
{3;1;0} (N=16)
{3;2;0} (N=16)
and would like to have
{3;0;0} (N=1)
{3;0;1} (N=1)
{3;0;2} (N=1)
....
{3;2;15} (N=1)
Using the Path Mapper
{A;B;C}(i) --> {A;B;i}
would get these results
hey Danny,
actually I am trying to keep the number of branches which are now 20. but within each branch I want to graft the list.
If you look at the attached images. the one named '1_rectangle'is what I am trying to achieve shown here on one cell. note that the list of curves was grafted in order for the operation to work.
the second image is what I am trying to get to work. I have got it to the point where lines are drawn between the lists with the same path numbers (which is what I want) , but I need to somehow graft the curves within the tree in order so that it works like in the first image.
I hope this is clear!!
here the other image
