algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Need help with extruding line same distance as the lines are set apart?

What I got so far are a bunch of lines along a curve and the distances are set by a bezier curve. I'm trying to extrude the lines in the y direction where each curve would extrude at the same distance as the distance between the points, but how do I input the bezier curve into the distance of extrusion?

A couple more question so don't post a code that not correct... Are you wanting the extrude lines to be e randomly out in space? or would you rather they started at each point on the crv?..Also i am expecting you want the extruded surfaces to overlap?

Not randomly out in space but yes, starting at each point on the curve. And I don't want them to overlap and extrude in in the y direction. Does that help?

Thank a lot! It's really helpful and is exactly what I want! Another question: instead of using a line component, how do I place my own input curve? I managed to plug everything else into my function, except for 'L' in the item component.

I understood what you wanted to do just been rather busy with work so not be able to edit the code and post it up.

I hope you don't mind but i have justed used the input crvs from the lastest 3dm File sent and edited the old code i posted to do what you want it to... as not had the chance to understand all your lastest code yet.. sorry.

Thanks a lot for the file. But unfortunately, I'm highly inept at grasshopper and still have not figured it out. Just haven't managed to figure out where to plug things here and there. Thanks anyway though. Shall continue playing around with the components!
