Grasshopper

Hi David,

would there be a way to keep the tree structure when internalising data?

Looking for a usefull workaround...

Danny?

Thanks,

Phillip

Providing that the Internalised Data remains in the same Flat list order you could internalise the Path Structure in a Path Param and then use the Replace Branches component.

See this discussion: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/wish-panel-wire-display-s...

I coded a custom component that allows you to internalize path-formatted data with one click.

Thanks a lot, guys.

I am not sure why, but somehow internalising PathParam didn´t work for me right.

Maybe, I am missing something.

Snip is great. Impressed me the second time today.

Best,

Phillip

Hi Anrew,

just found out, once you unload GH, snip looses the data...

Could there be an easy fix for this?

Meanwhile I will try outsurce Treestructure to a spreadsheet.

Thanks for the reply David.

Best,

Phillip

Hi Phillip,

it will happen at some point, it has to. But changing the persistent data from a list to a tree will break the SDK and I don't want to break too often.
