algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This is mostly a question concerning paths...

I am trying to draw a "graph" inside a closed curve (which is in reality a building footprint).  The "y-axis" values of this graph are based on a proximity test for some points that are sitting along the curve.

In the definition I've attached, I have the effect working for one point, a test evaluation point on the curve.  I can get the number of other points within a radius, and draw a line based on the length of that list.   My problem starts when I try to do this at many points at once. I have tried this as either a series of evaluated parameters on the building curve, or as a set of division points on that curve.  I quickly get lost in the data structure.  What I WANT is going to look something like I've attached as a PDF. 

Any help in structuring the data is much appreciated.  I hope to learn a little lesson about treatment of paths in the process.

Just replace the point from your eval curve with a grafted list of points from a divide curve (or evaluate curve with multiple parameters, doesn't matter). I've also added a couple components at the end to calculate the curved outline you have in the drawing, just be aware of the flatten operation on the Interpolate Curve component.
