I'm trying...but having a hard time trying to organize the pts. to keep it in order for "main" network of lines to the "sub" network of lines, if you know what i mean...? right now i'm just making random points and the are being connected in a "shortest" way possible, but not sure how to keep them organized to start the second bash of pts.

I dealt with the iteration in VB.net but I'm sure you could get the same results with Hoopsnake.

awesome, going to try it out. Are you using a plugin like hoopsnake to achieve the iteration?

Sure Nay,
A random point is introduced at each iteration. A line is then drawn from that point to the closest point on the closest line in the existing network. This line is added to the network for the next iteration. With some light rinsing and repeating, you get some suburban looking networks.

Hey David, can you explain what is going on here? and what you are using to achieve the inner network of curves.
