Hi.
I have a list containing the corners of different plane surfaces, now I wan't to use these corner points for a control point curve. But how do i get the the curve component to know only to make a curve for each surface. I have attached my list, it is split up into the corners of each surface.
Best regards Rasmus
Offcourse. You guys have been great. I am sorry for all of the questions, but I do have one more, and you seem to be really good at using GH :).
What is the simplest way of getting the surface normalvector for the different surfaces/curves? So that I can extrude them or thicken them and subtract them from eachother. It's just like so many before me have made, but I am not sure what is the easiest way, cause I also have to extrude all the surfaces "out" of the volume.
I think there's an implicit conversion for planar surfaces. Try connecting the surface to a vector parameter. It should output the normal vector of the surface's plane.
If they are not planar, you'll have use the evaluate surface component. You'll have to choose on what point of the surface you want to find the normal. If you want roughtly the center of the surface, input {0.5,0.5,0} on the uv input, right click on the surface parameter and enable "reparameterize".
(A bit of nitpicking: David says he uses proper British spelling in Grasshopper. In that case, it should be spelled reparameterise).
