algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi I've been trying to do this exercise but somehow it doesn't turn out right. Is there any way I can set min-max values to the rectangles' sizes as well?
Does it make sense if I want to assign a main road to the curve, and use the strength of attractor curve as how heavy the traffic flow is to affect the rectangles distribution (say they are pieces of land)? If that makes any sense lol
The ghx file is attached. I've spent ages trying to figure out what was wrong and couldn't find any similar tutorial online.

Hi. I'm also working on a project that uses attractors with traffic and parking. But I'm working in reverse - I'm using the properties and their densities of usage as the points of influence (a house having a very low value, a football stadium having a very high value).

Can you attach the rhino file?

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. I'm using a cad map so there's no rhino file really, still testing the ghx with random curves and it doesn't work out. The distance from the curve to geometries should relate to the geometries' dimensions. i.e. the further out the rectangles, the bigger they get. Could you have a look for me see where it went wrong please? Thank you. x
Do you want it to look like the attached image? (are you sure further away equals bigger, and not the reverse, which would be more like usual attractor logic?)

File is attached. It uses the distance from the Closest Point component to size the rectangles. I'm assuming the random points are where you wanted the rectangles placed.

As far as reversing it, you should check out the logic in the example on page 60 of Andy Payne's primer:

It has falloff logic, but you'd have to adapt it to your curve, as it uses point attractors.
