Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to achieve something similar to reference image.

Also attached is the results of the what I have managed so far in Grasshopper.

What is the best way to achieve irregular triangular grids on a planar surface?

If anyone can share their two sense that would be really helpful.

Thanks

I suggest to re-mesh base mesh with kangaroo mesh machine by attract points.

In that way you will achieve irregular triangulation.

Or use attractor points to scale the grid.

Thank you Petras for your suggestion. I am going to give it a try. Still learning grasshopper and have never used kangaroo. I created the base grid using lunchbox.

No luck with Kangaroo. Being a newbie i cannot figure out how to use it.

Any other suggestions is welcomed....

How to use mesh machine is very well explained here:
