Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

There is a polygon and it was meshed.

And the naked vertices were found from the mesh.

How can i extract vertices that are along the straight sides of polygon from the naked vertices ??

Thanks for help!

Hi.

Take a look at the attachment. Best.

Hi Kim,

Thank you for your quick reply! I appreciate it.

I have another question...

How to deal the component "Curve Closest Point", when the polygon is more than one?

If i want to separate all the naked vertices along each straight side.

In this case, there are some shared edges and duplicated naked points.

Do you want something like this?

Hi,

Thanks a lot. This way can deal what i want.

But sometimes, I am confused with using the grasshopper component like "Curve Closest Point", if i want to find each mesh's separated naked points.(Neglect shared edges and duplicated naked points)

How can i do without duplicating the component like below?

Your problem has nothing to do with "Curve Closest Point". It's just a matter of data matching.
