this is very nice, thank you!!

now I have my grid, I managed to select all the cells inside the boundary and now I would like to random select group of cells, but I haveing some problems: I have some duplicates and I wonder how can I avoid multiple cull list.

There are many solutions to this, one simple is to jitter the surface => make random order for them, in parallel use a partition list where the number of each partition is controled by graph mapper, could also be controled with slider (genepool) ...
