algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

How can I change the density of a grid with an attractor point?

Something like the picture attached, but instead changing the dimension of the circles, I want more or less points...

Thank you in advance !

Thank you Nikos ! It works :D

Hi, Nikos, how can i do the same thing but with a curve ?

I tried with your previous definition but i'm not able to modify it...

hello Klaudio

you will need to modify the definition a bit.

you can use curve closest point inputing the curve you want and the points of the grid, then use the points output as second input to distance component (with first input being the grid points)

cheers

alex

Thank you Alex, my mistake was that i used Divide curve instead of Closest Point. Now it works !!!

Hi all :)

Just came across this post and I am trying to achieve something similar but in a 3D grid. I am distorting a rhombic grid but struggling to give the grid depth (rather than it just being a truss). Do you know how I can achieve this??

Thanks!

Karisma
