Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi

i have basic plane panelized with launcbox.

i reduced some traingles with random selection.

now, how can I add another grasshoper element to select unselected traingles from the first random selection? (invert selection)

thanks.

Hi.

You can use "Set difference" for selecting inverse set of points or numbers.  Check attached. Best.

thanks it works fine.

i have more than 50 different planes that i need to apply this sheme. and now on every plane i have the same pattern. than i need manually select every plane and add different randomnes with percentage slider. and it works fine, but it takes too much mouse clicks.

is it possible to add some randomnes on every different surface planes and select multiple planes at the begining, to avoid applying this pattern on one by one planes.

Hi.

If so, see this as well.

And if you are lazy enough to want to solve all your problems with a single click, then I would recommend that you learn the very basics of GH such as "Data Tree", "Data Matching", "Flatten or Graft", etc...

It wasn't my intention to ask you to solve all my problems.

I'm beginner with grasshoper and anyy help is appriciated.

thanks for help one more time.

how is possible tu control size of triangles by distance in meters and not with number of elements UV

would like to have the same grid size if i select multiple planes but if planes are in different sizes grid is completetly different if i control it with just UV sliders.

Like I mentioned (I would recommend that you learn the very basics of GH such as "Data Tree", "Data Matching", "Flatten or Graft", etc...)...

If you elaborate a little bit more, then you'll get the answer easily ...

perfect, thanks so much.

is it possible to add third variation group?

Check this as well.

perfect thanks, can you share definition please.

I'm in something similar but easier i have a collection of points I want make invert selection could you help?

is there a way to extract a list for each partitioned list? i mean, is it possible to bake the three branches of the partition list separately?
