algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Quite probably (but I would highly recommend Modo for that type of stuff).
See a very naive 5 minutes demo related with "holes VS V cells".
You can severely prettify the result:
1. By joining randomly (or use some rule) the polylines - and use a rather more adventurous boundary.
2. By masterminding ways to create far more elaborated holes.
3. By eliminating cells.
4. By "distorting" the upper inclined portion of the Brep (or mesh for speed) in order to appear "more natural".
And finally:
4. By masterminding some approach for the "fading ribs" on the not perforated part.
