algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Set attractors points and curves which are creating mountains with stripes.

Hi guys,

I've  asked recently here for help to create roofs stripes, which would be influenced by some points.

These points were set arbitrarily, but I would like them to be defined by attractors, in this case curves. All the points would generate a height, a top for the stripes. The heights of these points would depend of their proximity of the curves.

Other thing, there would be several kinds of curves, in other words each curve would have its degree of influence on the surrounding "hills".

So you will see two mains algorithm in the file, the third down doesn't matter. The one on the left generates the stripes, and the one on the right is generating the shape isolated.

Last thing, I'm currently using Nudibranch in order to generate attractors, it seems easier than making it without this plugin.

Thank you so much for your support,

I'm at a loss as to what the difference is.

Instead of "Gene Pool", Try to use your curve proximity as multiplier.

One additional tip is, patchwork of anything you don't understand is of no benefit to you.

Thank you,

Indeed it seems not enough rough in my opinion, but no problem I'll keep the last one.

I've a few time to finish this work, and my objective was something like the picture, without the bottom part. A shape which is drawing a kind of natural skyline of mountain.

I will improve myself in Grasshopper this summer :)

Best
