Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've been searching here in Discussions and elsewhere for example Grasshopper Definitions for creating 3D wall panels or wave/sine textures but with little luck.

Ultimately I will outputting on a CNC but I'm hoping to find some great examples that would help get me started on creating the curves that form the ordered and (pseudo) random textures.

I'm brand new to Grasshopper... any help pointers to examples is deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Kind regards,

Do you have an example image of what you're looking for?

I did this one a few weeks ago:

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/curve-engraving?context=user

It converts curves straight to gcode for milling with a 90 deg V-bit.

Beautiful work there!!

Sure, here's some examples that have elements that I'm hoping Grasshopper could help with...

Thanks Haik. Those examples all seem managable for creating grasshopper.

Have you checked out these links?

Here's the file from my example, although I don't know how organised the definition is. I'll have a look at trying out some of those patterns when I have the time.

Here you are, the best 3d wave wall panels , Interior design is not just art, but also part of science. Acoustic 3D wave wall panels do well in both. Creating the best working environment is the delicate balance of space planning, light, acoustics, aesthetics and natural elements, as well as mobility and functionality.
