"Hi esc11, I agree with Hannes you can use the sweep2rail for this. But if you still want to use loft have a look at the attached example, but I think sweep2rail is more elegant. Best, Martin."

Hannes Löschke replied to esc11's discussion I can't divide loft surface...
"You need to use a valid surface. Lofts created from joined curves create a joined set of surfaces (open Brep). Try a 2rail sweep instead."

Martin Dembski replied to esc11's discussion I can't divide loft surface...
"Hi esc11, the problem in your definition as I already thought is that the Loft creates an Open Brep/ Polysurface, this happens because your curves have some discontinuities. Now you have some possibilities to solve this: 1. the best would be to…"

"Hi esc11, it seems to me that your loft creates an open brep instead of a surface. Maybe this hints you in the right direction. But for further it woud be much easier if you post your definition and the according Rhino file. Best, Martin."

I can't divide loft surface...

hi guys!I've some problem with loft surface...I've realize 5 curves with different point of control (images 1 & 2);this, because I must to control every singol point of single curve. After, I've connect every single points, line and curves in 1 join curves and, at the end, create a loft with 5 curves(image 3)But now,  I can't divide my surface in Horizontal and Vertical ribs!!I've also bake this surface and after imported in GH but I can't realize my divide surface...can anyone help…See More

Danny Boyes replied to esc11's discussion fillet line...how can I create this?
"Here's a proof of concept using a bi-Arc component. Still needs work as it doesn't autoflip the end tangents at the moment but it will select the closes end points. Note there's no truncation/extension of the lines like a fillet at a…"

Danny Boyes replied to esc11's discussion fillet line...how can I create this?
"Thinking on... You're basically looking for a blend curve, is this right? If so you all you would need is the end vectors and of each curve to influence the direction. I'll get back to you on this"

Chris Tietjen replied to esc11's discussion fillet line...how can I create this?
"This definition works because the lines are coplanar and intersect.  I'm not sure that it makes sense to talk about two non-coplanar lines having a fillet.  You might want to submit a drawing of what you want to achieve."
