Modeling hinges in simple beam scenario

Hello,I am trying to model a simple beam scenario where a beam clamped on two sides has a hinge in the middle. I modeled this after the Karamba Shear Hinge definition, as two beams with a free vertex each (clamped), and a common one (hinge). However, I cannot seem to figure out the proper connectivity for the hinge. One beam ends up getting both it's edges as a hinge. Can anybody share their experience with modeling hinges?Attached is the file, adapted from the Karamba Shear Hinge definition,…See More

hi, i am trying to use hoopsnake for a script to create a loop, but i do not understand where am i going wrong, can you plz have a look and help me out.

I basically want to create a loop of lines from a point cloud, Its like first point selects 4 closest points, thn creates a line with the point which is farthest amongs t those 4 points, now the farthest points again acts as a start point and does the same ahead and eventually creates a chain.

I have attached gh and rhino files, will be really helpful if u hav a look.

Thanx
